Printable communication that explains how to use the ALLSTAR PEN
India accounts for the largest number of people suffering from diabetes in the world: 50.8 million people. Sanofi have recently developed a simple and effective way of treating diabetes using a device called the ALLSTAR PEN. This device helps manage diabetes and it has been developed especially for India and its diabetes patients.The challenge was to develop a printable means of communication that explains how to use the ALLSTAR PEN to Indian patients, especially children in a very simple way, by not relying completely on verbal information, but by making use of visual elements.
The information manual was mainly directed towards children.
To make the whole process of using an Insulin pen less scary, 2 characters were developed.
This converted the complex instructions into an easy to understand format
